The Columbia Private Equity Conference is a two-day academic event that features contemporary research in private equity, venture capital, and entrepreneurial finance. Hosted and made possible by the support of the Columbia Business School, the conference features a half-day PhD workshop featuring students in the area and near the job market. The second day of the conference features five papers and discussions by academics from universities across the world.

The conference is hosted by Michael Ewens (Columbia) and Emmanuel Yimfor (Columbia) and co-organized with Song Ma (Yale). The co-organizers are joined by Tania Babina (Columbia), Arthur Korteweg (USC), Rick Townsend (UCSD), and Ayako Yasuda (UC Davis) on the program committee.
