The first day of the conference is a half-day event featuring PhD student presentations and discussions by faculty members. PhD students, particularly those with plans to enter the job market in the Fall, are encouraged to submit their papers. Papers do not have to be perfectly polished, but should have the main results and structure for the expected final draft. All student participants will be invited to the main conference on Friday.
The workshop will include lunch and four paper presentations.
