The Columbia Private Equity Research Conference is a two-day academic event that features contemporary research in private equity, venture capital, and entrepreneurial finance. Hosted and made possible by the support of the Columbia Business School, the conference features a half-day PhD workshop featuring students in the area and near the job market. The conference’s second day features five papers and discussions by academics from universities worldwide.
The conference is hosted and organized by Michael Ewens (Columbia) and Emmanuel Yimfor (Columbia). The co-organizers are joined by Neroli Austin (University of Michigan), Arthur Korteweg (USC), with Song Ma (Yale), Rick Townsend (UCSD), and Ayako Yasuda (UC Davis) on the program committee.
